It is full summer now, the heart of June

Not quite the heart of June, Oscar Wilde, but my garden is so early this year that it seems so.  A quick once over of the garden produced a basketful of just-picked goodness, best expressed in pictures:
Snow peas ready to blanch and freeze.

Lettuce for tonight's dinner.

New potatoes (the white one infiltrated the red line).  Unfortunately, the potatoes are being hit with fusarium wilt, probably brought in on the "organic" seed potatoes - one of the side effects of buying untreated seed.  I got a good crop before the wilt set in.  The white potatoes in the next row seem to be doing fine.

Parsley, sage, thyme, dill, fennel, cilantro, basil.

The daily cache of strawberries.  They've had a tough spring with high heat and torrential downpours but are hanging in there.

Snow peas ready to go into the freezer for winter use.  There are tons left on the vines!
